| Ari Emens-Asher, a trans boy and self-defined nerd, has lived in New York for most of his life. He goes to school at Bank Street with his ten-year old brother Micah. He also has three other siblings: Leor, who is 3 years old, and Ronnie and Akiva, who are both around 7 months old. Ari likes watching the Simpsons, playing Magic the Gathering (a card game), and listening to 80s rock music. Because his D’var is about kindness and connecting people, he is donating his tzedakah to Matan, an organization working to build a world in which all Jewish communities are fully inclusive of children with and without disabilities. |
